How to Apply for a Tibet Visa:
- Step 1: Get a Chinese visa at the Chinese embassy located in Kathmandu. It must be noted that other types of Chinese visas acquired outside of Nepal are not recognized in Tibet.
- Step 2: Your travel agency will be in charge of getting the Tibet Travel Permit which is already included with the Tibetan Tourism Bureau in an invitation letter. This again has to be done through an agency.
