A typical tourist bus ride to Pokhara from Kathmandu lasts for about 8 hours. However, those 10 hours are not just a bland bus ride along the highway. You will get to see a bunch of interesting things along the way, and the green hills do not leave your side until you get to Pokhara.

But we do understand that you might not want to spend 10 hours of your vacation time on a bus ride, which is why we give you the option of an upgrade. If you decide to upgrade, we will book a flight to Pokhara, which is just 25 minutes by air.

Upgraded accommodation in Kathmandu Pokhara  mandi. But if you want all the luxury you can have, we will upgrade your stay to a 4-star or 5-star hotel. This upgrade is not a part of the Kathmandu and Pokhara Tour package.

The trip starts in Kathmandu; as you reach the airport, we will send one of our representatives to welcome you and transport you to your 3-star hotel. You will not see any action on day 1 of the Kathmandu Pokhara Explorer Tour; nevertheless, the day will be exciting as you will set foot in the land of the Himalayas and get to see some from your flight as well. The next day is when you will visit a bunch of attractions around the valley of Kathmandu after an hour-long flight to view the mountains up close.

After visiting religious and historical places like Swayambhunath Bouddhanath, Patan Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and more, we will get back to your accommodation. For the time being, you can stroll around the neighborhood and get a taste of the nightlife in Kathmandu.

Day 3 of the Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan Tour takes you to Pokhara, the tourist hub of Nepal. After you arrive at Pokhara, you will immediately understand why it is called the tourist hub. We will not visit any attractions on day 3 as the bus ride takes about 10 hours. We will call it a night and get to sightseeing the city on the 4th day of the tour.

Sightseeing the city of Pokhara, we will visit places like Pumdikot Shiva Statue, World Peace Stupa, Begnas Lake, Rupakot, etc. You can even spend some hours living the nightlife of Pokhara. The following day we will get on a ride back to Kathmandu and eventually drop you off at the airport.

Although the Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan Tour can be around the year, the seasons of autumn and spring are considered to be more preferable. The best thing about traveling during these seasons is the lack of rainfall and overall clear view of the surrounding landscape.

Spring is also the season of greenery as new leaves grow and flowers bloom, which adds to the amazing scene you see during your Kathmandu mountain flight and Pokhara  kukaona malo.

The standard accommodation during your Kathmandu & Pokhara Tour will be in 3-star hotels in both cities, Kathmandu and Pokhara. You can want an upgrade; you can simply ask for it during your booking phase, and we will make the necessary arrangements for you. Note that this upgrade will drive up the price of the tour; it is not included in the standard package.

Food and drinks during the tour will be provided by us; this includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On the drinks side, we will provide you with water and occasional teas. Anything other than that is your own expense. You can choose your breakfast, lunch, and dinner from the menu of the accommodation, and if you want to have meals while we are out roaming, you will have to pay for it on your own.

There are a plethora of lunch and dinner options, but we recommend you try some local or national dishes as they are a part of the experience as well. If you are not sure what to get, our guide will recommend dishes that you might like. You should at least try the local dishes once; if you do not like it, you can also go back to western dishes.

Options for drinks are also massive, as it’s a blend of western, local, and national drinks all around the cities. For instance, you can always get cola, soda, and Western brand alcoholic drinks along with the locally produced alcohol, local tea, and other local drinks. None of these drinks are a part of the Kathmandu Pokhara Tour package.

We recommend not eating and drinking from street vendors, as they can be quite unhygienic at times, which can lead to unwanted health issues.

Our Kathmandu Pokhara Tour requires a lot of transport. First off, we will pick you up from the airport and drive you to the domestic airport to take the Kathmandu mountain flight, drive you back to the hotel, take you on a Kathmandu sightseeing tour, and take you on a bus ride to Pokhara. In addition to that, we will take you on a Pokhara sightseeing tour, get you back to Kathmandu, and transport you to the airport at the end of the Kathmandu Pokhara Tour.

All of these transports are a part of the package, which means you do not have to pay for them separately.

As the name suggests, we will be visiting Chitwan in addition to Pokhara and Kathmandu. The Chitwan National Park is an amazing adventure to indulge in; the plethora of animals, birds, and interesting things to look out for is what makes it a worthy visit. One of the best things about Chitwan is the range of activities offered; you can do the standard jungle safari (on foot, by jeep, or on an elephant), or a bird-watching session, or an elephant bathing session.

Our Kathmandu Pokhara Tour  is priced reasonably at USD 700 per person. You can also get a particularized bill if you ask for it. We require at least 50% advance payment of the total amount in order for you to officially book your tour. This is done as we start preparing for your tour the moment you confirm your reservation. In case you want to cancel the tour after a successful booking, we will not be able to provide you a full refund; the refund will be based on how close the schedule date is compared to the cancellation date.

The closer you are to the scheduled date of the tour, the less you get refunded, as it costs us too to book you hotels, book your activities, and not to forget we have to put in the human resource to make it work.

Another thing to note is that you must carry enough cash while we are out in the city, roaming. Sure, there are a lot of places that accept VISA, MasterCard, and other international digital forms of payment, but not every establishment has that service. So, you should have some cash with you, as cash is king in most establishments.

Internet will be available at your accommodation with no extra charge. The internet will be available 24/7, and sometimes it can get laggy, but most of the time it runs smoothly. While you are out on the road; you can find free public WiFi at some places, but they are generally slow. To tackle this, you can just get a Nepalese SIM card and use it to access the internet.

Gadgets charging should not be an issue throughout your Kathmandu Pokhara Tour. One can also charge their devices at the eateries we will stop at during the outing.
