Mardi Himal -vaellus – 10 päivää

You will start your itinerary days upon your arrival at TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport) in Kathmandu. From there you will be picked up by our representative from Glory Adventure the office to the hotel. There the staff will be waiting for you. After you have been taken to the hotel, you can have your refreshment time there having some rest and freshening stuff. And if you want to do some interesting activities then you can hang around the streets of local markets and hunt for some local foods and souvenirs.

You will get your stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

After having breakfast in your hotel, you will get your stuff packed and be ready for the net trim to Pokhara through the drive. This drive will go through the mid-hill highway which covers the massive and diverse geographical scenery all along the way.

You will get to enjoy the journey through the riverside road having various views of small markets and villages with farming terraces. The drive of 6 hours will be the highlighting drive for you during this trek of Mardi Himal Trek.

Upon arrival in Pokhara, you will witness the massive lakeside city with an enormous view of the majestic range of Macchapuchre. Pokhara is itself known to be an example of a nature city or a Himalayan one. You can also have some time roaming around the lakeside during the evening in Pokhara. You can also try some cuisines at the restaurants and cafes around there enjoying the view of a calm lake.

You will get your accommodation at a hotel in Pokhara.

Today, you will start the actual trekking in your footsteps from Kande. After you get your breakfast, we will begin our trek to get there in Pitam Deurali. This trail takes us through the lush greenery. It will also offer us the terrain while we start to climb the steady paths.

After having some ascend, you will arrive at the Pitam Deurali. It is a very beautiful small Himalayan village.

You will get your accommodation in Pitam Deurali.

With breakfast in the morning in the tranquil village of Pitam Deurali, we will again continue our journey to rest camp. It will take us 6 hours of duration of continuous walk through the ascending trail.

You will go passing the beautiful phase of rhododendron forest and the juniper plants. The ascending trail also offers you a view of Macchapuchre Peak. Through such beautiful scenery, you will arrive at the Forest Camp. From there you will only need to have a trek of an hour to get there in Rest camp.

You will get your overnight stay at Rest Camp.

On the very fifth day of your trekking itinerary, we will gain some altitude above 3000m to get there in High Camp. You will get breakfast in the morning at Rest camp and we will continue our journey. As we go higher we will get to see the majestic views of a mountain range with the peaks, including the Macchapuchre, Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, and Gangapurna with the following range.

Enjoying the scenic beauty of this trail we will arrive at the High Camp. There we will have our lunch and again enjoy the sunset from there with the panoramic views of the Himalayas surrounded with snow-capped peaks.

You will get your overnight at High Camp.

Today will be a massive day for your itinerary as we will trek up to the Mardi Himal trek and again Trek from there to Badal Danda. It covers the massive gain and loss of altitude. It also covers 9 hours of continuous walk, through the high altitude terrain of Mardi region.

We will start our trek early in the morning, and from there we need to climb the ascending trail which is built with steep paths. We will gain an altitude of around 1000m in difference. The journey also covers the stunning sunrise from the different viewpoints during the journey. You will start to get a closer look at a glimpse of mountain peaks such as Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Macchapuchre, and some of the neighboring peaks full of snow.

After we arrive at the Base camp of the Mardi Himal Trek we will have our breakfast there enjoying the tranquil altitude beauty and the diverse mountain geography. It will be a very mesmerizing moment for you to get your meal at such a location. After breakfast, we will have some time there to enjoy the massive views and we will again continue our trek to Badal Danda. So we will again ascend from there to arrive in Banda Danda. The journey consists of a descending path through the rough terrains. It will only take some few hours to get there in Badal Danda.

Your stay will be there at Badal Danda.

The trek will continue for the siding village after you get your breakfast. We will go through the peaceful and tranquil descending path. The path will follow the Mardi Khola River later in the journey. After we arrive at Siding Village which is a very beautiful village surrounded by farming terraces, we will get some rest and drive back to Pokhara.

You will get to enjoy this drive with the massive scenery, of hills and landscapes filled with villages and the amazing geography. After arriving in Pokhara, you will get your refreshment time in there.

You will get your overnight stay in Pokhara.

Again you will get a long drive through the midhill highway from Pokhara to Kathmandu. You can enjoy this trip one more time. After breakfast, we will get our drive back to Kathmandu. The riverside roads will make your journey mesmerizing one more time.

After arriving in Kathmandu, you can enjoy your evening with street foods and local cuisines as well as with your favorite Western dishes from different restaurants and cafes around the market.

You will get your stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

On this day you will be free from the rest of the itinerary. You will get your chance to have time for yourself. You can roam around the different parts of Kathmandu Valley. You can also have your sightseeing trip around the historical significant sites as well religious sites around the city. Kathmandu is itself a great course of travel with diverse subjects of history, culture, and religion.

You can have your sightseeing tour at Swayambunath stupa which gives you a very wide panoramic view of Kathmandu. Boudhanath will be a great place to see the amazing and beautiful ancient architecture of Buddhism and to have cuisines in different local restaurants. Pashupatinath will be another recommendation for you if you want to see the amazing culture and rituals of Hinduism. It is one of the most sacred and devoted places of Hindus.

For historical sites, you can visit Basantapur, Patan, or Bhaktapur Durbar Square. The ball holds ancient historical significance with the palaces and the spots of different events. There you will also see the amazing temples which are built in different timelines.

Or you also just can spend your time resting in your hotel. You can also have the experience of nightlife in Thamel in various bars and clubs as well buy yourself some souvenirs from Asan Bazer or any other local markets as a token before your departure.

Today will be the denature day for you as well as the last day of your trip. The memorable journey through nature and the terrains of Mardi Himal Trek ends with your departure from Kathmandu to your destination.

So, you will get your breakfast in the morning and you will get a pick service from the hotel to the airport. You will get your departure from there, and the end of your journey.
